Cross country ski trails open
December 8, 2011
Cross country ski trails are open throughout Red Deer.
River Bend Golf Course & Recreation Area, Heritage Ranch to Great Chief Park and Barrett Park offer Red Deerians almost 30 kilometres of groomed cross country ski trails throughout the city.
Skiers are reminded of basic trail etiquette, such as staying on the groomed trails and sharing the trails with other skiers. Other trail users are reminded to not walk on the ski trails and to keep dogs off the ski trails.
