Community Sport Awards nominations deadline extended
January 21, 2011
(Red Deer, Alberta) – Red Deerians have a few more days to nominate deserving individuals and groups for the 2011 Red Deer Community Sport Awards sponsored by the Red Deer Primary Care Network.
The nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, January 28, 2011, at 3 p.m.
Awards will be presented in 13 categories, including:
Athlete Awards
• Under 12 Certificates of Recognition
• Under 15 Certificates of Recognition
• Junior Male and Female Athlete of the Year
• Open Male and Female Athlete of the Year
• Senior Male and Female Athlete of the Year
Additional Awards
• Team of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Kendall Dunkle Minor Coach of the Year
• Official of the Year
• Youth Official of the Year
• Volunteer Recognition Certificate
• Local Business Contributor of the Year
• Lifetime Sport Achievement Award
