(Red Deer, Alberta) – It’s patio season and what better way to spend an evening than relaxing to the sounds of Alberta’s own Chloe Albert.
Chloe will be giving free musical performances on Wednesday, June 12 starting at 4:15 p.m. on the Ross Street Patio and Thursday, June 13 from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. for the listening pleasure of the weekday lunch crowd.
Chloe’s album Dedicated State won her the Emerging Artist of the Year award from the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2008 and has been played across Canada on CBC and across Alberta on CKUA. Her recently released album, Dream Catcher, is currently in the top 30 on the CKUA charts and has been there since the album release
From June through September, a different artist or performer will be featured every Wednesday evening on the Ross Street Patio and Thursday over lunchtime. Check out this fun opportunity to learn more about the creativity happening in Red Deer, all while enjoying the ambiance of downtown.
Along with these downtown weekly events, The City is hosting three Patio Parties on the first Friday of July, August, and September, and four Summer Sundays at Bower Ponds with free concerts.
