(Red Deer, Alberta) – The City of Red Deer is hosting a public meeting on October 18, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn on 67 Street to give affected landowners, citizens and other stakeholders the opportunity to learn more about The City's industrial annexation proposal.
The City is proposing to annex eight quarter sections of land immediately west of Queen Elizabeth II Highway (Highway 2) and immediately south of Highway 11A for industrial development.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view a presentation by City and Parkland Community Planning staff, ask questions about the proposed annexation, and provide input on the proposal. The presentation outlining the annexation application will begin at 7:00 p.m.
