June 4, 2008 - Needs assessment information and feedback session
June 4, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – Get in on the action. Help set out a process for when, where, why and how we develop recreation, parks and culture facilities in Red Deer at an information and feedback session on June 12.
“It’s all about planning. This is another opportunity for Red Deer citizens to get involved, help us set out a process, and chart the course for how we develop recreation, parks and culture facilities in our community,” said Kay Kenny, Recreation Superintendent.
The information session will include a presentation from consulting team CDC/Converge. They will present a summary of the needs identified so far during the planning process, a proposed vision for facility development and a proposed evaluation tool.
“It’s about finding out how citizens want us to set priorities. It’s about developing a process that works for Red Deer and the people that live here,” said Kenny.
The open house runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Red Deer Lodge in the Waskasoo A Room. CDC/ Converge’s presentation will start at 7 p.m. with opportunities for questions and feedback after the presentation.
