October 16 - Community Assets Needs Assessment Open House
October 16, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – What’s in store for recreation, parks and culture over the next 25 years? See if we’re on the right track at the Community Assets Needs Assessment (CANA) Open House on October 21.
Consulting team CDC/Converge will highlight the findings of the assessment and share the directional plan for future recreation, parks and culture facility development in Red Deer. Public will have opportunities to ask questions and give feedback on the plan.
The open house will be held:
Date: Tuesday, October 21, 2008
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
Presentation: 6 p.m.
Location: Westerner Park Chalet
4847A 19 Street
The open house will give citizens an opportunity to find out how their input through surveys, focus groups and feedback sessions shaped the proposed direction for recreation, parks and culture in the short, medium and long term.
“It’s all about planning, prioritizing and finding opportunities to improve our quality of life in Red Deer,” said Kenny.
