Lights, Camera, Transit
Whether you’re a fan of comedy, drama, fantasy or action, we’re giving you a sneak peek into a futuristic Red Deer, and we want you to help us write the script.
We’re not talking about flying cars or transporters, but we are talking about making it easier to move through the city by taking transit – and not just by bus.
What do you think about using transit today? What would make it easier for you to use transit? How do you think transit should be implemented in the future? Join us at City Centre Stage as we lift the curtain on ideas for transit in our city.
Join Michael Roschlau of the Canadian Urban Transit Association as he talks about a vision for transit. We’re not going back to the future, but we all have ideas that can shape Red Deer’s future transit system.
Where:
City Centre Stage, 4922 49 Street
When:
February 16, 2012
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and a standing reception and light refreshments will follow the speaking event.
