Road Closures & Traffic Disruptions

During a major construction project, it may be necessary to close a road or a section of a road for any given period of time. Please refer to major projects for a complete list of current major road construction projects, along with details and information for motorists.

Motorists are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas, watch for flying debris and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

When:	Tuesday, August 31 until September 21 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Where:	Road closure - 59 Street from 49 Avenue to 50 Avenue
Reason:	Replacing water main
Detour:	- 60 Street - Local traffic only

When:	Wednesday, September 1 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Where:	Road closure - 43 Street eastbound between 54 Avenue and Taylor Drive
Reason:	Repairing sidewalk
Detour:	45 Street

When:	Wednesday, September 1 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Where:	Road closure - 48 Street from 48 Avenue to 47A Avenue - 47A Avenue from 47 Street to 48 Street
Reason:	Replacing manhole barrel
Detour:	47 Street

When:	Thursday, September 2 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Where:	Road closure - 48 Street from 48 Avenue to 47A Avenue - 47A Avenue from 47 Street to 48 Street
Reason:	Replacing manhole barrel
