The City of Red Deer is in the midst of a major redevelopment of Riverlands, one of three key districts that will become focal points in Greater Downtown Red Deer.
The Riverlands Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) was adopted by City Council in October 2011, and builds on a decade of planning and public input.

An update to the Riverlands Area Redevelopment Plan and amendments to the Land Use Bylaw are scheduled this summer for Council consideration.
