Progress and Potential: The Greater Downtown Action Plan 2008 Update

In 2008, the Greater Downtown Action Plan was updated through a series of public workshops and planning events. The Greater Downtown Action Plan was adopted by Council on February 9, 2009 as a planning tool for the development of the greater downtown area. The previous Action Plan of 2000 (Bylaw 3267/2000) was repealed March 23, 2009.

Of the Plan’s 46 recommendations, 34 are underway or have been completed.
