Red Deer RCMP look for suspects in armed robbery at Esso

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify two men who robbed an Esso gas station at knifepoint on Friday night.

Shortly after 10:30 pm on April 29, RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Esso Station at 4745 32 Street. Two young men, one of whom was armed with a knife, demanded cash from the staff member and were seen heading north.

Suspect 1 is described as:

  • Unknown race, spoke without accent
  • Early 20s
  • 5’8” tall with a medium build
  • Wearing a black Ecko brand zip-up hoodie with Ecko Unltd. in white lettering on the left front and a red and white Ecko Untld. rhinoceros logo on the back, and a white bandana over his face
  • Carrying a small knife

Suspect 2 is described as:

  • Unknown race, spoke without accent
  • Early 20s
  • 5’8” tall with a skinnier build than Suspect #1
  • Wearing a black zip-up hoodie with a logo on the side of the hood, and a white and black patterned bandana over his face
