How do I obtain a notice?
- Print the Individual School Support Notice (pdf) or Corporate School Support Notice (pdf) , complete it and mail, fax or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Pick a form up in person on the 4th floor of City Hall - 4914 48 Avenue.
- Call 403-342-8126 to request the form.
Why am I receiving a notice?
You will receive a notice in the mail from us within a year when you acquire a property or have had a change in the title of your property.
You may also file a notice at any subsequent time.
We are required by legislation to bill and collect school taxes on behalf of the province.
Why do I complete the notice?
By completing the form you can declare if your education property tax dollars will go to support the public school or the separate school.
What is the deadline to submit the notice?
The deadline is December 31 of the current year and will take effect the following calendar year.
Who completes and files the notice?
All individuals, corporations, or cooperative associations who own property located in a municipality where both public school district and a Roman Catholic separate school district exist are required to complete and file a notice.
