Temporary spring road bans lifted

Due to consistent warm weather, temporary road bans throughout the city will come to an end at 7 a.m. on June 2, 2026.

Various infrastructure projects in this section include major roads, water, storm, sanitary, reservoirs, bridges and detention ponds for the city of Red Deer.
The Municipal Government Act allows municipalities to create an off-site levies bylaw to help pay for the infrastructure that we use every day in new communities. In Red Deer, an off-site levy is a development charge paid by Developers.
