Red Deer Lights the Night is an annual holiday celebration that features the lighting of the Christmas lights in beautiful City Hall Park and Red Deer’s Christmas Holiday Tree.

Red Deer Lights the Night

Saturday, November 17
4 – 7 p.m.
City Hall Park, Ross Street and Red Deer Public Library

5:15 p.m. – Lighting of City Hall Park
6:15 p.m. – Lighting of Red Deer’s Holiday Tree 

Celebrate the holiday season and take in the annual light up of beautiful City Hall Park in downtown Red Deer. Enjoy popcorn, hot chocolate, kids activities and live entertainment, cozy up in the warming tent, shop the winter market and visit with Santa. 

Proudly presented by Stantec and hosted by The City of Red Deer and the Red Deer Downtown Business Association, this is a free event that’s fun for the whole family.

Parking is FREE in Sorenson Station Parkade from 3 - 8 p.m. and in on street parking stalls through the weekend.
