Games competitions are taking place at venues throughout Red Deer. As such, you may notice roads and restaurants are a bit busier than usual. Please give yourself extra time to get where you’re going and be patient with our guests.

Attending a competition? Avoid the hassle of finding parking when watching Games events by taking transit. Check out our Transit Pocket Map (pdf) to figure out what route to take.

Parking is free at most venues, and free downtown on evenings, weekends, and on Family Day. For more information on parking lots, costs and hours, visit Parking Downtown.

If travelling by car, carpool when possible. If a venue's parking lot is at capacity, a number of venues have residential street parking nearby. Please be courteous of residential parking access such as driveways. When parking downtown, check out the Downtown Parking Lots and Rates (pdf) that are available to choose from.
