You still have a chance to tell us what you think, Red Deer

(Red Deer, Alberta)

Last weekend at Let’s Talk 2016, residents had the opportunity to learn about City services, and share their thoughts around their vision for the city.

That chance is not over. The budget survey that was available at Let’s Talk is now available online for residents to fill out. For the next three weeks, residents are encouraged to visit The City’s website and ensure their voice is heard.

“We need you to help us fill in the blanks, and tell us where you would spend your tax dollar,” said Dean Krejci, Chief Financial Officer. “Residents can also tell us what programs and services they see as priorities for The City, which will assist Administration in preparation for Budget 2017.”

On Tuesday, April 26, The City will continue to engage with the community on the budget during an open house. Residents will have the opportunity to learn about the services and programs The City offers and tell us how they would spend their tax dollar. The open house will run from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Festival Hall.

To complete the survey, residents can visit www.reddeer.ca/survey. For more information about the upcoming Budget 2017 Open House, visit www.reddeer.ca/budget.
