The City’s Budget Bus has been out on the streets of Red Deer talking to residents about City services and finding out what their priorities are. If you haven’t visited a bus yet, there are still lots of opportunities this month.
At the Budget Bus, which will be parked at a central location, residents can learn all about the services The City provides, and how much those services cost. You can ask questions, learn all about how they are budgeted, and then take a turn telling us where you would spend more or less. The feedback received from the public will help determine the 2017 operating and capital budgets for The City, and ultimately the future of Red Deer.
Come and find the Budget Bus at Bower Ponds on Thursday, June 16 from 5 – 7 p.m. and next week at Olymel on Thursday, June 23 from 2:30 – 3:30 and then we will be hitting up the Farmers Market on Saturday, June 25.
