(Red Deer, Alberta)

Building permit values nearly doubled in May compared to April values.

Commercial permit values are significantly higher than last year; however, residential permit values have dropped somewhat. Year-to-date building permit values remain lower than the first five months of 2018.

Notable permits for May include construction of a commercial building and parking lot at 10 Vermont Avenue, and a new body shop and car sales centre located at 3120 - 51 Avenue.

Monthly permit statistics are available on The City’s website at: Red Deer Open Data Catalogue.
