The value of building permits in Red Deer remained consistent through February 2019, but the cumulative year-to-date total is slightly behind the same month of 2018. Residential permit values were on par with February 2018 numbers, while commercial values doubled. Both industrial and public permits dropped from the same month last year.

Significant permits for February included a four storey base building and parking garage on 43 Street and a two storey office building on Sharpe Avenue.
