Red Deer, Alta - On Oct. 5, 2023 the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a search warrant on a property in Red Deer County, Alta. Following the search a significant amount of stolen property was recovered, which included multiple vehicles, multiple ATV’s/dirt bikes, firearms/ammunition and a stolen passport.
Trent FIELDER, a 53-year-old resident of Red Deer was arrested and remanded into custody. FIELDER was charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 x 4
- Illegal Possession of Government Documents
- Weapons possession contrary to order x2
- Tampering with serial number of a firearm
- Possession of a restricted/prohibited firearm with ammo without licence/registration
The investigation is still ongoing.
