Mulch Rebate Form

The City of Red Deer is offering the Mulch Rebate Program to residents who purchase permeable mulch for their properties. Residents can apply for a rebate of 50 percent of the cost of the mulch, to a maximum of $50. Maximum one rebate per utility account regardless of the rebate amount. People who participated in the program in past years are not eligible to receive another rebate.

Applicant's Agreement

Rebates are processed on a first come, first served basis and are credited to the applicant's utility account. The City of Red Deer is not responsible for the installation or function of mulch and reserves the right to require that the applicant provide the original receipt as proof of purchase and to inspect premises to confirm mulch installation. The City of Red Deer reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet program requirements. All rebates are the subject of availability of funds. The City of Red Deer is collecting personal information for the purpose of administering The City's Water Conservation, Efficiency and Productivity Plan.
