(Red Deer, Alberta)Building permit values continued to rise in July, with 94 approved permits valued at $9.4 million, compared with 99 permits issued in July 2020 worth $5.3 million.
Year-to-date building permits remain lower in 2021, with current values at $78.6 million compared with $102.3 million last year.
Notable permits include:
- Building permit for an expansion of an existing fire training tower at 4343 78 Street Crescent, valued at $4.09 million
- Permit for the demolition of an existing building and trailer and to rebuild a new 429.58 m2 Industrial Building at 4310 77 Street, valued at $980,000
- Building permit for demolition of a single family house with attached garage, basement development covered and uncovered deck at 3745 44 Avenue, valued at $259,216
- Building permit for tenant improvements for a veterinary clinic at 7101 50 Avenue, valued at $250,000
