Manning House
Located at 4641 49 StreetManning House 2009
The 1905 Manning House was one of the earliest and finest homes built in the Parkvale neighbourhood shortly after it was established as Parkvale Estates in 1905. The house, which was built for Marshall J. Manning, a Manager at Merchant’s Bank, and his family, is one of a few known mail order homes remaining in Red Deer.
The Manning House is significant for its association with Marshall J. Manning and because it is one of the few remaining houses in Red Deer that was built from a mail order kit.
The Manning House is on The City of Red Deer’s Places of Interest List (POIL).
