Fee Assistance Program Application Form

The Fee Assistance Program offers financial support to people who are currently facing some financial challenges and want to use City-operated recreation facilities or take part in City offered Recreation, Parks or Culture programs or activities.

We encourage customers to fill out the following online form to determine eligibility into the program. A staff member will review the form within three (3) business days. You will be contacted once the application has been reviewed to discuss eligibility and next steps. Information about applications in progress will not be available through the front reception areas in recreation facilities.

In order for you application to be processed, please attach proof of income/and or support AND a copy of your Driver’s License (preferable). If you do not have a Driver’s License, acceptable ID confirming proof of identification may include: Affidavit of ID, Institutional ID, Letter of Residency from Shelter or Referring Agency, Health Care Card, Utility or Phone Bill.

Important Reminders:

  1. Please allow three (3) business days for applications to be reviewed. A City of Red Deer staff member will contact you to discuss your application. Please note: This application submission does not guarantee approval. Applicants are not qualified until all information is provided. Applicants must provide valid proof of income or documentation for support programs as well as photo identification with address. If this information is not provided, the applicant will not qualify for the Fee Assistance Program.
  2. Information about your application is not available in City of Red Deer recreation facilities. If you have any questions about the status of your application, please contact feeassistance@reddeer.ca
