(Red Deer, Alberta)Building permit values dropped in August, with 95 issued permits valued at $3.6 million, compared with 117 permits issued in August 2024 worth $5.1 million.
Year-to-date permit values remain higher in 2025, with current values at $1.03 billion, compared with $85 million at this time last year.
Notable permits include:
- Building permit for new structure at existing hydrovac disposal facility at 7774 47 Avenue Close, valued at $500,000
- Building permit for construction of new single-family detached dwelling with attached garage, enclosed screen room, covered deck and veranda at 127 Everson Close, valued at $283,000
- Building permit for construction of new single-family detached dwelling with attached garage, covered tiered decks and basement development at 10 Thorne Place, valued at $275,000
- Building permit for construction of new single-family detached dwelling with attached garage, uncovered deck and basement suite at 34 Tagish Avenue, valued at $274,000
