CONSENT:
Scheduling of Special Council Meetings
- City Council will consider proposed dates and times for upcoming Special Council Meetings to ensure timely consideration of priority items.
Deputy Mayor Schedule Update
- An update to the Deputy Mayor schedule to accommodate availability, resulting in a swap of assigned months between two Councillors in 2026.
Recommendation to Council from Municipal Planning Commission
- Council will receive a recommendation from the Municipal Planning Commission suggesting a review of the Zoning Bylaw definition for supportive living accommodation. If Council agrees, Administration would be directed to explore potential amendments and report back.
2025 Election Campaign Disclosure Statement and Financial Statement
- Council will receive a report summarizing campaign disclosure and financial statements filed by candidates in the 2025 municipal election. The report fulfills legislative requirements and is presented for information only.
Road Closure Bylaw 3357-2026 – Closure of a Portion of Service Road Plan 782 1624 and Zoning Bylaw 3357/H2026 – Rezoning of a Closed Portion of Road to C-2
- Council will consider first reading of bylaws to close a small portion of service road land near Gaetz Avenue and rezone it to commercial use. If approved, the land could be consolidated with an adjacent commercial property for future development, subject to further approvals.

Disestablishment of the Downtown Business Association
- City Council is asked to complete first reading of a bylaw which would disestablish the Business Improvement Area (BIA) and Downtown Business Association (DBA). This follows previous Council direction for administration to prepare such a bylaw no later than April 30, 2026, and the formal request to initiate disestablishment received by The City from the DBA Board of Directors on December 11, 2025.
