The City of Red Deer will officially welcome its newly elected Mayor and City Councillors during the 2025 Council Swearing-In Ceremony on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, followed by the Organizational Meeting at 1 p.m.
Members of the public are invited to watch the Swearing-In Ceremony live online at www.reddeer.ca/swearingin
For those wishing to attend in person, a public viewing area will be available on the main floor of City Hall in the Wapiti Room. Seating inside Council Chambers is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, in accordance with fire code capacity.
The Swearing-In Ceremony marks the official start of a new Mayor and Council’s term, as they take their oaths of office and begin their service to the community.
