The popular neighbourhood recreation program, Meet Me at the Park, returns this summer with a wide range of fun-filled activities for residents of all ages. This program aims to bring the community together throughout the city while it fosters a sense of belonging and connection.
Meet Me at the Park offers an array of engaging and inclusive activities designed to encourage physical activity, social interaction, and community engagement. From energetic games to creative activities, this program has something for everyone. Red Deer residents can expect to participate in sports, arts and crafts, and nature-focused activities throughout the season.
Running from July 6 to August 28, Meet Me at The Park will take place in various neighbourhood parks across Red Deer. Trained staff members will be on site working towards building a positive experience through creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. This year’s program begins in the Eastview Estates neighbourhood at 120 Ellenwood Drive.
Meet Me at The Park is backed by the support of various local partners, agencies, and community associations who are passionate about creating a strong and connected Red Deer. The program is a collaborative effort between the City of Red Deer’s Safe & Healthy Communities Department and these various local organizations.
