Motorists and pedestrians are advised of upcoming traffic disruptions as crews work to complete roadway improvements on 49 Avenue (by the Westerner) from 19 Street to Spruce Street.
Pavement milling will take place approximately June 8 and paving is scheduled for June 13 and 14. All construction will occur during the day. The road will remain open during milling and paving; however, traffic will be limited to one lane. Drivers should expect delays ad consider and alternative routes.
Signs will be in place to notify drivers of detours and closures as they occur. Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
