Once again, non-profit groups are invited to apply for funding through The City of Red Deer’s Community Recreation Enhancement Grant. The program provides funding to enhance the delivery of community recreation programs, services and events in Red Deer.
The Community Recreation Enhancement Grant is received exclusively via online portal. The submission system is quick to set up and easy to use.
Applications are accepted two times per year. Completed applications must be submitted prior to the deadlines of 12:00 p.m. on April 1 or October 1 of the funding year. The 2022 fall intake deadline has been extended to Monday October 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon.
In 2021, the City of Red Deer awarded approximately $100,000 to community sport and recreation groups, in order to support and enhance their ability to deliver recreation services and programs to Red Deerians. A complete listing of 2021 grant recipients is available here.
