(Red Deer, Alberta)Motorists are advised of an upcoming traffic disruption on Gaetz Avenue southbound at Bennett Street as crews complete utility work in the right turning lane.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, February 13, the right turning lane on Gaetz Avenue will be closed intermittently at Bennett Street until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 17. Right turns onto Bennett Street from Gaetz Avenue will be permitted, but drivers should plan for delays.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks. This work is weather dependent, and schedules may be subject to change. For more information about road closures, visit www.reddeer.ca/roadclosures.
