(Red Deer, Alberta)There will be an emergency power outage lasting approximately two to three hours in the Deer Park and Rosedale neighbourhoods this evening as crews work to repair an overhead switch on a power pole.
The outage will begin within the next 30 minutes, and crews will work to restore power as quickly as possible.
Below are some tips to follow during a power outage:
- Turn off appliances and unplug all sensitive electronic equipment. Keep one light switch turned on so you know when the power comes back on.
- Think safety. Do not bring your gas or charcoal barbecue indoors. Be careful with candles.
