(Red Deer, Alberta)A portion of 49 Street between 46 Ave and 47 Ave will be reduced to two lanes as City crews do emergency repairs to underground infrastructure. Lane reductions will begin Thursday, March 21 at 7 a.m.
Lane closures are expected to be in place until 5 p.m. Friday, March 22 with the possible need to extend timelines. Further updates will be provided should a full road closure be required depending on the severity of the issue with underground infrastructure.
Motorists are advised to obey all signs and use extra caution while crews are present. Please find an alternate route if possible.
