Point in Time Homeless Count
The Point in Time (PIT) Homeless Count & Survey is a coordinated event where persons experiencing homelessness are counted and asked a number of questions to get a snapshot in time of those experiencing homelessness in the community.
The City of Red Deer completed the 2025 PIT Count on October 9, 2025, in collaboration with community partners.
The PiT Count and Survey is funded by the Government of Canada’s Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy.
