The City of Red Deer is currently experiencing an unexpected phone service disruption at the Civic Yards. As a result, incoming phone lines for the following departments are unavailable:
- Transit (including Action Bus)
- Parks and Public Works
- Utilities (Environmental Services, Electric Light & Power)
(Note: The Blue Line remains operational)
The main phone line at City Hall (403-342-8111) is still available between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; however, some services, including Action Bus bookings, cannot currently be completed by phone.
The disruption is the result of a service provider issue, not a City system problem. The City’s is working with the provider to resolve it. Currently, there is no estimated timeline for restoration.
