• Our childminding drop-in service is first come, first served with reservation space available.
• Parents are required to remain in the facility while children are in our care, unless an off site reservation has been made.
• Off-site reservations must be made 24 hours in advance and your child must be at least 18 months of age.
• Childminding cards are not valid for reservations.
• All children must wear clean indoor shoes or socks. No bare feet.
• Please provide a labelled zipper lock bag containing personal items. (e.g. diapers, bottles, snacks)
• Bottles and snack containers must be unbreakable.
• All snacks must be nut free.
• For the health and safety of others, we ask that you refrain from bringing children who are ill.

• As of October 1, 2026, paper punch passes will no longer be available for purchase.
• As of October 1, 2026, all new purchases will be placed onto a scan card. If you already have a monthly recreation pass, the credits will be placed onto your current card.
• Childminding credits are shifting from 15 minute increments to 30 minute increments
• We encourage you to use any remaining hours on your current punch passes before making the switch.
• Any remaining credits will be honoured until October 2027, after which they will expire.
• Single visits remain available for purchase. Simply visit the Customer Service Desk to pay and bring your receipt to Childminding.

All existing punch pass credits will remain valid until September 30, 2027. We encourage you to use your remaining hours over the coming year and consider transitioning to the new system as early as possible.

Yes, the scan cards are compatible at both facilities. Therefore, loading credits onto your scan card, gives you access to childminding at either facility.

Yes, you will need a Look ‘n book account in order to purchase and reload your childminding card. You can create a Look ‘n Book account here. Single drop-in visits, will not require a Look ‘n Book account at this time.

No. All purchases and reloads must be completed at the customer service desk. Childminding staff are not able to process transactions on-site.

At this time, purchases and reloads are only available in person at the customer service desk within the facility.

Yes, the scan card is sold under the parent’s name, and is not specific to one child. Therefore, one childminding card can be scanned for numerous children.

The new system operates in half-hour increments and is not compatible with the existing punch pass format. As a result, credits cannot be transferred between systems. As a reminder, the credits you currently have on the paper punch pass are valid until September 30, 2027.
