The Collicutt Centre is celebrating 25 years of serving the Red Deer community. Since opening in 2001, the facility has been a place for recreation, wellness, connection, fitness, friendship, and family time, truly living up to its original tagline, “Your Community Common.”

For 25 years, the Collicutt Centre has been more than just a recreation facility, it has been a place where community comes together. Since opening in 2001, the Centre has welcomed generations of Red Deerians for fitness, wellness, recreation, connection and family time.
Celebrate 25 Years of Collicutt
For 25 years, the Collicutt Centre has been a place where people come together to connect, recreate and build community. As we celebrate this milestone, we invite everyone to join us for a community-wide anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 13.
Enjoy free access to drop-in areas, including the Water Park, fitness spaces and Field House, along with special activities throughout the facility.

Community Celebration Moment
Everyone is welcome to the event for free from noon to 5 p.m. At 2 p.m. join the Mayor, members of Council, City leadership and our community to recognize 25 years of memories, milestones and connections at the Collicutt Centre.

When is the celebration?
Saturday, June 13 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Is there a cost to attend the event?
No. The City of Red Deer is celebrating with the community by offering free access to the Collicutt Centre from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the event. Facility access before 12 p.m. and after 5 p.m. will be at the rate of daily admission.
Who can attend the event?
Everyone is welcome. The celebration is open to all community members and visitors. As per facility guidelines, children under the age of 8 must be supervised by an adult or someone over the age of 16.
What will be happening at the event?
The celebration will include small moments of recognition throughout the day, light refreshments, and opportunities for the community to come together and enjoy the facility. The primary focus of the celebration is providing free access for the community to enjoy the Collicutt Centre and everything it offers.
What if I arrive early for the event?
Daily admission rates apply to any entry before 12 p.m.
Do I have to leave right at 5 p.m.?
Yes, drop-in areas will be cleared of guests that came for the event. Paid entry wristbands will be required after 5 p.m.
