Tree Programs

Arbor Day
White spruce seedlings are presented to every grade one student in Red Deer in the first week of May. A commemorative tree is planted at a different school every year. We appreciate the assistance of school principals and teachers for helping us with this program and promoting the value of trees in the environment. Thank you to Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development for supplying free seedlings for Arbor Day activities and to Appollo Landscaping for donating the tree spade for planting the commemorative tree.
